Organic chopped dates. This product has been seived but may still contain bits from their stones.
Add some butter (coconut oil if vegan) to a pan over medium heat and add double the amount of chopped dates to butter along with a splash of water, once bubbling, lower heat and cover allowing dates to break down for a few minutes, once dates are completely soft - remove from the heat, stir and season with salt and vanilla to taste. To make this a pouring caramel, add half a tin of coconut milk instead of water and blend the mixture for a smoother consitency. YUM!
